IVY at NIGHT

This painting has a built up raised surface using textural medium.
The thick medium was applied, dried, then overpainted in black and while still wet,
was then flooded with flow paint (Gouache) and allowed to dry.
Further materials were then dipped in paint and applied to the surface.
The surface was dried then 2 layers of spray varnish were applied to protect from moisture/transfer.

She is currently living in Melbourne, Australia

Sold her first art in the form of a picture card made of pressed flowers and silver threads in the 1980s.
First exhibition sale was Abbotsford Convent Gallery in 2023 with assistance from Schizy Inc. Vic.
First open public exhibition was at The Knox Art Show 2023 - "A Sunny Day" pastel.
Eleyan is living with a Stage 4 Cancer diagnosis since 12 May 2024
