Artwork Description

Inspired by the detailed line of Durer and the aging architecture of the Melbourne skyline contrasting with the leaning palms. The archaic medium of copperplate etching printed on the delicate handmade paper from the Japanese Awagami factory using the Kitakata 36gsm. Alternatively orders can be placed for a print on a heavier printmaking paper or hand-coloured using pigment ink or watercolour.

Artist Bio

I am a painter/printmaker inspired by the south coast of Gippsland, Vic.
It is the small things, the colours and textures unique to our environment. The feeling we have whilst amongst it, that is what I work to capture.
