There is a saying “Paint What You Love”, and I love so many things but I do enjoy a cup of tea and a good book. I have an eclectic collection of tea cups and this one reminds me of my travels to Asia. Part of the background is beautiful collage paper and the rest of the painting is painted in acrylic paints.
The painting is done in a modern style but still draws inspiration from traditional still life paintings.
