I am an Adelaide artist and I have been painting works on paper, using water colours, crayon and pastels since I was a teenager, as I was taught by Ruth Tuck. Later I trained as an Art Teacher and taught Art at Unley High School in Adelaide.
I am a plein air artist (that is, I like to paint outdoors on the spot) to capture the atmosphere and feeling of a place. However, some of my paintings are surreal or abstracted. I have also used photographic collages and stretched velvet canvases to develop ideas.
Besides creating artworks, I have also made several independent documentaries, pursued an academic career and participated in the Masters Games as an athlete.
