Wakes Music and sewing centre, has sat at the top of York Street in Albany, W.A for many years now.

Elisha was drawn to the signwriting on this building as her grandfather was a signwriter when he lived in Albany and it is a store that she frequented as a child with her nana who loved the sewing and hospitality section.

Elisha has a strong connection with music and as a result has picked up on the detail in the windows capturing, reflections and shapes to describe the instruments inside the store.

This is another fun piece, of a modern streetscape, from the sleepy town of Albany, the building, often missed, is an icon in Elisha eyes.

The edges of this artwork have been painted and the painting sealed with varnish.
It is ready to hang as is or it will suit a frame if you choose to add one.
