Lapstone Creek

My local walking track includes the beautiful Lapstone Creek. It's a place filled with life, quiet serenity and our beautiful native flora. This gestural, semi abstract landscape is an impression of the essence of this place, the joy it fills me with and the vibrancy of our landscape.

Elisha Schnell is a painter living in the Blue Mountains. She works in a gestural style with a focus on landscapes and the natural environment. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Art (Fine Art) and has participated in several group exhibitions. She was selected for a group show at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery, has worked on a collaboration with Penrith Regional Council and undertook an internship with the Powerhouse Museum.
