This is part of a Bungle Bungles series. Painting memories of my travels years later is a way I reminisce and capture a feeling of a place I have visited. I like using bold colours to brighten my outlook when I am feeling nostalgic.

The long stretches of empty roads with vibrant cooper coloured earth and the joy of spotting desert peas flowering are some of the memories which I like to paint". ES GRAY primarily paints original Australian botanicals in acrylics on stretched canvas. She currently resides in Bondi Beach and finds solitude in the ocean and creativity from the outback.
