Elizabeth Hamon is actively exercising self-discovery and self-expression in harmony with nature. Hamon recognizes the deep disconnect many of us experience with regards to nature, and ultimately wants to both demonstrate and celebrate the beautiful and natural unity we as humans have with the natural world around us. Through mixed media (soft pastels, oil pastels, acrylic, and ink) Hamon creates rich yet subtle colour and textures, demonstrating the diversity of textures and colours within nature. Hamon's signature red can be seen filling the negative space around the portrait.
