Elizabeth Hamon explores her self-image, captured in this oil pastel portrait. This is one of three portraits of self-reflection. Hamon is mystified about how our perceptions of our appearance have further warped due to social media use. Through this work, and the additional others of the same title, Hamon explores how she views herself, discovering that perhaps she sees herself as colours, seasons, moods. She, like all of us, is not just a reflected image of a human, but a rich tapestry of colours and shapes.
