Artwork Description

Sunday Strolls forms part of the ‘Feels Like Home’ collection; a body of work inspired by the Geelong waterfront. I’ve used texture and acrylics to create top down views of this beautiful seaside city I now call home. This piece is inspired by my own post-partum journey and the regular strolls I take along the waterfront with my baby in his pram. I often see other mothers with tired eyes and milk stained tshirts, and we give that knowing smile at each other as we pass. You know what makes strolls along the waterfront even better? A stroll with a friend!
