An aerial view of surfers waiting for the waves to come. Pastel blues and greens of the water compliment the pops of colour in the surfboards. Here I’ve used plaster to create texture in the water, reflecting the ripples and movement, even when the water is still. This piece instantly brings warmth to a room, perfect for a coastal home or those who dream of being by the water.
I am supporting Life Saving Victoria through my artworks. Having been caught in a rip current myself along with 2 friends and my sister being airlifted out of the water, I owe a lot to the lifeguards who acted swiftly and saved us that day.
