This is a series of mixed media paintings with combination of figurative elements, abstraction and texture. Through this media variation I aim to create a structure that is charged, interesting and conveys feelings of intimacy, longings and ambiguities of things unspoken, forgotten. The visual language of the painting is concerned with mood, content and combination of expressionistic brushwork, line and exaggerated shapes and shadows. I paint with acrylic in a spontaneous way, mowing back and forth across painting surface and the creative process is largely intuitive.
