Growing up, I always enjoyed art and was intrigued by the many forms it could take . In 2016, I was a finalist in the Mosman Youth Art Prize, and after taking a few years away from creating art, a keen interest in textiles and fashion design encouraged me to pursue it again.
I enjoy creating abstract artworks which appear to be simple and easy to take in, but hold a deeper and sometimes complex meaning. This can be seen in the arrangement of shapes and colours used, in combination with the mediums that are chosen. Inspiration is often taken from the beauty of nature, people, and the overarching simplicity of life. The styles and techniques used to portray these themes vary and are often experimental.
