Artwork Description

this artwork was created in brisbane and was inspired by a local flower farm called woggoon. interestingly enough my mum has been undertaking a year long residency there and naturally i have also found some inspiration. the name 'an enemy' was inspired by a) the difficulty of spelling anenome and then b) because it was incredibly difficult to execute. getting to live on acreage surrounded by nature and visiting farms and seeing animals is so deeply a part of my life and i love painting it and aiming to capture what it is like to live in rural queensland.
