Hi there, I'm Elle France, an abstract realism and Plein Air artist based in Perth, Western Australia. Welcome to my page!
Here’s a little about me. I've been practicing art since 2022. My love of contrasting light with casting shadows in nature, a still life or on faces has always been a source of inspiration for me and is characteristic of my art style.
My practice is centred around drawing and colour theory, which I've developed through my formal studies in art and design, painting, printmaking and ceramics. I've always been drawn to the great masters, including movements from Impressionism to Contemporary Modern Art and all in between, as each offers a particularly interesting aspect for me to hone in to.
I'm grateful to be able to do what I love for a living and have been a finalist in several art awards. I exhibit my work locally, interstate and internationally. Bluethumb has been a great supporter of my art with my work being selected and featured for several of their curations. As well, my work is consistently chosen for Staff Picks.
