Artwork Description

Inspired by a line from a Nora Ephron essay, On Maintenance, this work is positioned as a before and after view post surgery. The differences between the images are hard, if impossible to spot, and the eyes are censored, asking questions about our opinions of ourselves and the sometimes predatory nature of the beauty industry.
