It was on a visit to Portsea in Victoria that I captured the beautiful Crimson Rosella! I wanted to acentuate the vibrandt red and blue feathers against a backdrop of Blue Lilly Pilly!
I created this piece by initially drawing my design onto Cresent watercolour board, then using pen and ink to enhance my design, finally adding the colour using watercolour paints!
This is definitely a statement piece adding impact to a plain wall and would bring life into any area of your home or business!
The vibrant colours could also be enhanced by adding touches of the same colours to the area using soft furnishings like cushions and vases, perhaps also a throw rug!
