Gouache on paper

I grew up picking fruit from the trees in our back yard! Through this painting I can share those childhood memories with others who have had similar experiences. There were always plenty of hungry birds eager to share the fruits of our labour!
There is quite a lot going on in this work, it would make a feature and brighten up any space, it would also become quite the talking point at social gatherings!
After completing the inital drawing I used watercolour paint for the background and then completed the birds, apples and foreground using gouache. It is painted on 600gsm H/P watercolour paper.
