Watercolour on paper
Signed on the front.
Somehow the Musk Lorikeets know exactly the right time to fly into my bottlebrushes in mid Springtime. They frolic about like excited children in a lollie shop, not quite knowing which flowers to extract the nectar from first. They are very well camouflaged with their bright green feathers blending in so well with the green leaves of the bottlebsush and the red feathers on their heads are the same red as the bottlebrush flowers. I have used watercolours on watercolour paper for this artwork. Such a striking painting in bold reds and greens is definately a "statement" piece and would fit well in any space where some dramatic colour is called for. It would blend very well with any decor.
