Watercolour on paper
Signed on the front.
The beautiful Wattle trees are in full bloom in Central Victoria, making not only a spectacle of green and gold but they're spreading a delicate fragrance throughout the bush! The Red Gum trees and the Stringy bark trees line this track to the Murray River, the Black Wattles add a pop of colour to the greens and browns of the landscape, and a small Golden wattle reaches for the sky! Kookaburra's search through the leaf foliage and along the river bank looking for an afternoon snack. You can almost hear the bush chorus as you gaze into this painting which is my tribute to the arrival of Springtime! I have chosen to use watercolour on a background of watercolour paper on Illustration board for this painting. This large painting is definitely a "feature" piece and with it's intricate detail would be a conversation piece as well. the more you look into this painting the more you see, there are hidden gems everywhere. The natural tones and earthly colours used would compliment any decor.
