I have worked in various mediums over the past several decades. I have always had a desire to create more texture in my work, I have used "texture medium" with some acrylic works, but wanted to add texture to my watercolour, pen and ink works as well. Firstly I use watercolours to create the background for my textured pieces, I then add cotton fibres and various materials to create the texture. I often dye the cotton fibres with silk paint for for extra vibrancy.
