I have always been amazed at the stunning variety of wattle trees we have in Australia, especially where I live in Central Victoria. A drive around in late Winter/early Spring is a visual feast, as I spot beautiful Rainbow Lorikeets and Eastern Rosella's and Yellow tailed Black Cockatoos enjoying the Wattle blossoms. This is their playground and I feel privileged to witness them in their natural environment. I cannot describe the immense pleasure I have in capturing these wonderful creatures in my paintings.
