A trip to the rapids at a place called "Barnadown" in central Victoria, resulted in multiple choices for potential artworks. I have chosen this one to start on a possible series of works.
Painting landscapes is where my passion for art originally took hold, I then went on to be captivated by the stunning birdlife in my own back yard and surrounding districts. In this painting I intend to incorporate both of these passions! I sketched up the image on watercolour paper on illustration board, I am now in the process of working across the painting using watercolour and gouache! "Stay tuned"!
