Hello! I am a new artist who took up the creative pursuit of making art to brighten up my own personal space when I knew exactly what I wanted to hang on my own walls at home but couldn't find what I was looking for.
I don't like to be restricted to one medium and while I paint mainly in acrylics I also like to explore with watercolours and like to experiment with different styles and techniques.
I love the organic and unpredictable nature of abstract work. Abstract art aligns with they way I like to paint - when creating a new piece I like it to be free flowing and colourful – not to organised and predictable – but something fluid that is open to change.
I am inspired by the home space that I envisage I am creating an art work for and consider what I want to see in that space – this approach is what draws me to colourful abstract work.
