Artwork Description

In this painting, Eloise employs the hues of rose red, white, and gold to delineate a chromatic fugue. The composition simulates the perfect interweaving of melody and harmony found in music, creating an immersive atmosphere through the overlay of vibrant colours. The tones of rose red and the luminous brilliance of gold harmonise with each other, imbuing the entire canvas with a sense of vitality. Observers almost discern the auditory resonance of musical notes leaping across the canvas, encountering a composition akin to a melodic fugue unfurling within the symphony of colours.

Artist Bio

Eloise comes from a family of artists, with her father being an artist and her mother specialising in abstract art. Eloise grew up copying many masterpieces under the guidance of her parents. This has led to her painting style being diverse - influenced by abstract art and expressionism, she seeks to explore pure artistry and beauty through colour, composition and texture. Eloise paints a wide range of subjects, including still life, landscapes and figures. The main medium for her work is acrylic, but she is continually developing new techniques and experimenting with different mediums.
For Eloise, the task of painting is not only to replicate or recreate reality with skilled techniques, but also to be a record of her feelings, experiences and emotions in every moment of her life which she hopes to share with viewers.
