It's all an illusion. Satisfaction in the fundamentals of mark making.

Simplifying my mark making. As a painter i tend to forget that some of the most beautiful marks I make often get covered up by the layers of paint I put down. In this painting i have use oil sticks to draw back over the landscape, bringing back some of my initial ideas that have been covered up. A very satisfying experiment in drawing.
