What a blessing to do what I like and make something beautiful and sharing it with others. Painting is a passion for me, it is a ministry and my soul food. I have always love painting since I was a child. For the last few years I have invested in skills as an artist after we immigrated to Australia from South Africa. I started as a landscape architect and studied further to incorporate Interior Design to my work. Although I am mainly a self-taught artist, I attended a few courses at TAFE and studied traditional oil painting techniques under the Master painter, Marcel Desbien. Currently I am working in my studio at home in the leafy outskirts of Brisbane where I am inspired by smells, sounds and the beautiful scenery of Australia. I am a keen photographer and love spending time on Safaris in South Africa.
I believe that in all that is good. Live in the light and be the salt, and that we need to look after our environment. I mostly paint florals, landscapes and sometimes animals in bold, bright colours. And this is me. Short and sweet
