thoughts happen to us, often from seemingly nowhere. exploring this idea - i conceptualised a small but nimble character, running from our brains, around certain tracks, weaving through grey matter, to arrive at our tree of knowledge. in a sea of uncertainty or ambiguity, a thought can occur to us without strain. stylised as a thought bubble above our heads somewhere, our knowledge does have some grounding to root down into. but just where that sits remains unclear. you cant point to it like a bone or pain.
