Tribesman's Gaze artwork has waited for a decade for me to finish him as he was one unfinished one of a few that were left from a stolen collection of large African artworks. He means a lot to me, and has a very strong presence and you will feel him in the room. My photographer friend Peppino Pbonu from Italy, permissioned me to paint from any of his photographs, and the day I got that permission, a massive leap of joy, and a whole new world of beauty was opened up to me. I have 2 big 180 x 120cm canvases to yet finish from that African collection. Wherever he finds a home, I will always remember him for the emotions that he has always evoked in me. The canvas comes with all deep edges painting, varnished and ready to hang. Enjoy - Em

Artwork Description
Artist Bio
I was born on a farm and spent my childhood in the county-side and from a young age was an extremely curious child .
I will always cherish that curious child within that was always drawing, painting or playing piano, and I then began exploring everything that I saw, so throughout the years my life has always evolved around creation in many diverse forms and also in multi-mediums across many spectrums. Through the decades these rivers of life, love, pain and spiritual connection have constantly stirred the passion that flows throughout my whole being and reflects my enduring love for this planet and the disappearing animals. This radiates through the form of creating paintings embracing the unbelievable colours of the magical world beneath the ocean, ....to the far reaches of the ever expanding Universe. What an amazingly beautiful world we live in with all it's exquisite beauty and fascinating ancient wonders. This that is, ....is what touches me deep within and leads me to release this passion that pours onto my canvases. My creations are ever evolving and this is my life, and I love it along with the pursuit of light and colour, colour, colour that I am part of.
Everyday is with loads of paint surrounding me. I am awfully messy and it is hard to find any clothing that has no paint on it. I am ever learning and expressing this passion for nature, animals and the elements, and as a fulltime artist I paint and create everyday. I paint in many mediums mainly using bold colors, including oil, acrylic, inks, watercolors, gouache, charcoal, pencils, pens, house paint for muraling etc. I use the palette knife along with brushes and various other utensils to create thick textures on various artworks and I love to paint it, pour it, flick it, and just get my hands in there and move it around in many different styles.
I also am a Muralist, and an Illustrator and have illustrated books for clients which have been done digitally through Photoshop. I am a happily reclusive artist, with a warped sense of humor.. ..have 3 amazing men for sons, 2 beautiful granddaughters and a grandson. My artworks sit in private collections around the world. Australia, New Zealand, New Guinea, Africa, England, Ireland, Russia, Slovenia, Thailand, Italy, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand and the USA and all of these artworks are treated as a 'child of mine'....with much love. My artworks will be ever changing, so please enjoy my blessed journey that started with a natural gift. I am not competitive nor an exhibitionist To define my life....A friend said to me recently....'I don't know what I am going to do for the rest of my life'. My reply was, ' I don't have enough time to do all the things that I want to do'.
p.s. There is soo much beauty in this world, so let's all just find peace within ourselves, and enjoy this amazing journey that is 'our life'.................Love Em
