Artwork Description

This painting came about because of my gardening habits! Plants either die immediately or thrive and grow far beyond they should in my yard. Garden magic is difficult for busy minds, but the time spent digging and wondering and trimming and watering, meeting all the little critters who help in the soil and soaking up sunshine is precious.

The feminine energy in gardens is something wonderful to sit in. This garden is a witchy and swampy and wonderful, and will bring interest to any wall it adorns in your home.

I paint the female form, abstract florals, enjoy busy doodling, and have a a deep interest in female stories, iconography and representation of the divine feminine in art and life. I also write whimsical, silly poems.

I bring my pieces together in layers, building complexity and pouring myself into everything I create.

I bloody love art, I love creating and bringing pieces to life from inside my brain. The joy I feel when one of my paintings or prints finds a new happy home on a wall somewhere out there is huge!
