I’m Emily, a self taught artist living on the Gold Coast. Growing up, I was very interested in the human face, the expressions and features of an individual. I have been drawing portraits in graphite pencil since I was 15, and they are the majority of my work as an artist. So much so that I find little time to work on creative pieces. I was inspired to paint by my nana, who helped me find my love for oil paint, specifically landscapes.
I started painting 2 years ago and haven’t stopped. I love a range of mediums, and you will see my art reflects that. I like to explore and expand myself so I am always learning and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I have a fondness for realism but I won’t stop there.
I hope to become successful enough to not only have an income but to give back to my community. I am very fond of my art, so I love to see it going to a good home!
