Artwork Description

A radiant embodiment of island spirit and feminine power, Tahitian Goddess captures the essence of tropical beauty through rich, textured acrylic layers. The painting features a serene yet commanding figure emerging from a dreamlike blend of turquoise waters, lush greens, and sun-warmed golds. Her presence feels both grounded and ethereal—rooted in nature yet touched by myth.

Thick, expressive brushstrokes and sculpted textures give the piece a tactile energy, echoing the rhythms of ocean waves and island breezes. Light dances across the surface, highlighting the contours of her form and evoking the glow of a setting Polynesian sun.

Artist Bio

My work is a celebration of texture, colour, and emotional honesty. I am drawn to bold, bright palettes and richly layered surfaces that invite the viewer not only to see, but to feel. Texture plays a central role in my practice — I build, scrape, layer, and reveal, allowing each piece to hold traces of its own evolution.

After becoming a mother, my relationship with art transformed. In the beautiful, disorienting process of rediscovering myself within motherhood, painting became both an anchor and a reclamation. What began as a quiet return to creativity evolved into a reignited passion — a way of finding my voice again, reconnecting with joy, and expressing the complex emotions that come with nurturing new life while redefining your own.

For me, painting is not just a process; it is an outpouring. I pour my soul into every canvas, using colour and form as a language when words fall short. My art is an invitation to connect: to emotion, to colour, and to the beauty found in depth and intensity
