What sweet nothings do you suppose this male galah is whispering into his partner's ear?
This artwork was inspired by Jennifer McErlean's photograph of a pair of pink and grey Galah's. I wanted to capture their fluffy cheeks and soft tummies. I love the way the paynes grey and permanent rose colours mesh together in this painting.
