Carlton Baths

For two years I lived in Melbourne, I was pursuing my masters degree, working full time and painting all in this little 1m wide by 2m long cube that was an extension to my bedroom. It had a window that looked out on Carlton Baths. I saw this view everyday, all day. Now it reminds me of a time that was frustrating, liberating and full of self-growth.

I have a background in sculpture and a passion for painting. Mediums such as impasto, texture and sand let me bring my paintings to life through adding this 3D element.
