Overthinker

This is an abstract watercolour on arches paper. It is a subconscious self portrait. I was exploring the freedom of curves vs the constraint of squares. It reminds me of the fight between creative and organized. The anxious brain is always overthinking and the need to be perfect often destroys creativity.

I am an artist who lives on the beautiful Central Coast NSW. I paint contemporary landscapes in acrylics and watercolours. I love to explore our beautiful native flora and fauna. I grew up in gorgeous Port Stephens, and have been lucky to have lived both in the country (Scone NSW) and the coast.
