Reverie

This is a watercolour still life of a green vase filled with my own philadendron leaves. The colours are a mix of dark and soft muted greens, with a pale background of complimentary pinky greys. I wanted to achieve a soft, reflective mood that creates calm. I really love these greens, and the abstract shapes allow the colours to bleed into each other nicely.

I am an artist who lives on the beautiful Central Coast NSW. I paint contemporary landscapes in acrylics and watercolours. I love to explore our beautiful native flora and fauna. I grew up in gorgeous Port Stephens, and have been lucky to have lived both in the country (Scone NSW) and the coast.
