Artwork Description

This original painting reminds me of building structures contained in a myriad of shapes and designs. A dressmakers pattern was used as a collage underneath the acrylic paint to create extra texture. Mark making and the cracking of paint gives a textured feeling to this original artwork.

Unframed. Please note: Photos of framed art and in room for illustration purposes only. Art in room is not to scale.

Artist Bio

My painting style varies dramatically as I paint according to my feelings, emotions, experiences and even the materials and mediums I decide to work with. I like to experiment with new styles, techniques, genres and art movements. I have a real love for abstract mixed media art especially the freedom it gives you. I also enjoy the artistic composition, technique, texture, juxtaposition and symbolism that collage paintings offer the viewer. It is an artistic map of ideas, concepts and images to explore.

Art is so important in your life as it can create wonderful feelings such as serenity, calm, happiness, and confidence. Art can also evoke positive energy and wonderful memories.

Enjoy my art in your home or workplace.

Please note:
Colour Disclaimer - Actual colours may vary depending on your computer or phone display monitor.
I sign on the back of my art when I want to give the buyer the option to choose how they would like to display their art, that is, in portrait or landscape format. To truly appreciate the beauty, colour and composition of my art all my paintings on paper need to be framed. Please note during the creative process paint sometimes gets on the back of my art work. This does not impact upon the art in anyway instead it adds to it's authenticity and originality. I believe art should be affordable so you can update your style and art pieces in the future.
