Magnificent views, birdlife and a mecca for walkers, horse riders and mountain bikers - welcome to the You Yangs! The distinctive granite peaks of this park rise abruptly from the flat plains below.
You Yangs Regional Park is part of an Aboriginal cultural landscape in the traditional Country of the Wadawurrung People and I respect the connection the Wadawurrung Traditional Owners have to these lands and waters.
This artwork is my visualisation of this intriguing landscape, inspired by photographs taken on a beautiful day hiking around the area.
If you look closer you can see interesting detail, mark making and textures.
This is a statement piece and will look fantastic in a contemporary home as well as in a more traditional setting.
