Artwork Description

This piece is about a women’s love journey with herself. Since she was a teenager, she was told her body wasn’t good enough. She held all her self worth around what she looked like. Through battling negative self talk and hearing the negative comments from others louder than any positive ones, she finally decided to break toxic beliefs and love her body. She decided enough was enough and it was time to feel comfortable in her own skin and found her true worth within herself. This painting contains energetic colours which show her confidence and clarity bringing warmth, love and hope into a space.

Artist Bio

Emma’s expressive use of colours are parallel to her views and perceptions of nature, in particular fauna. Though Emma uses a variety of styles and mediums to portray various scenes, her heart never strays too far from using the ocean as inspiration.
Whether she uses a graffiti, abstract, realist, surreal, messy, anthropomorphic, or contemporary style, Emma stays true to bright and bold.
