During pandemic period I’ve spent time with my mentor(Marion Rispin) to help perfect one of her styles-oriental combination. You may have seen traditional oriental paintings from Korea, Japan and China containing birds and flowers(trees) in paintings. It’s called `hajodo`
The meaning of this painting `hajodo` is wealth(gold), prospect(tree), happiness(bird) and blessing(leaves). I enjoyed this painting a lot.hope, you enjoy as much as I do.

Artist Bio
Painting is an unexplained addiction that has been placed upon me.
One day, I woke up & had to paint. And now I cannot stop.
In my previous life in South Korea my life was dedicated to helping others- as a nurse in bustling main city hospitals.
I chased that career when I moved to Australia in 2002. However, now I am an artist.
I have a beautiful studio in outer Melbourne where I paint and paint and paint. I have got to paint.
The subjects are limitless. I have no boundaries. There is no singular topic in which I immerse.
If the subject appears in an imagination or its real and has a presence, then I must paint it.
I have never been at such peace in my daily work. It’s a crazy world where I now find that my work is helping me.
Currently participating in contemporary art study at the Mornington Peninsula, convened by Cheryl Peterson Art studio.
