This artwork is inspired by the artist's time painting in Colombia in 2017, specifically a week where he witnessed public riots in Bogota and got lost in the jungle in the same week. Yet despite the turbulent flow of the piece the artist seems to capture something more sensitive and curious. "Even though I knew it was the last light of day seeping into the jungle and we had not yet found safety, it was serenely beautiful."
Acrylic paint dripped and applied in patterns and with figurative cues.
