As a Chinese-born Australian artist, Erica began traditional ink painting (Guo Hua国画), drawing and pencil sketching at an early age. She was mentored by the highly respected local artists in Kashgar, an ancient city with over 2,000 years history and a major stop on the world famous Silk Road.

Erica decided to expand her horizons and move to Australia in 2014, choosing Adelaide to start a new chapter in her artistic endeavours, and completed her Master of Arts degree in the University of Adelaide.

Currently, her main focuses are painting and photography. Striving to create up-lifting and harmonious pieces of work that elevate the viewers’ spirits and fill their heart with joy.
Erica loves connecting with people and is inspired by the diverse Australia fauna, flora and landscape.
