Cubist in influence this is the first of a series of paintings executed during an episode of migraines that lasted over seven days. My aim was to depict how we dress, arrange our hair and take a handful of painkillers to be able to go out to work. However on the inside we are drugged, confused and in quite a deal of pain while we try to function. Not many can see the inward struggle, pay attention or even care. Our cognitive function is impaired yet we are expected to carry on 100%. We build an exterior A hardened armour to protect the vulnerable being inside while we try to survive.
