Artist Bio

Erin completed TAFE training in both Fashion and Graphic Design. Her first exhibition was in 2000 under consignment from Vaco Baissac in Mauritius. She has received numerous commissions since 1996. DIGG ART was launched in 2012. From 2014-2017, whilst residing in Central West Queensland, Erin received numerous regional prizes and recognition including consecutively winning 1st prize for her original acrylics and watercolours entered and exhibited in Queensland's longest running exhibition show, the Isaac Regional Show. Erin served many years on The Regional Arts Funding (RADF) Advisory Board for Isaac Regional Council and was pivotal in helping to start the Isaac Performing Arts and now celebrating over a decade in operation, founded the Clermont Arts Council, Clermont Artslink, for which she presided for 3 years. Her most recent work depicts fun and loose spontaneity. Her preference for using a bright palette, Erin is inspired by the harsh beauty of the outback, with a particular passion for cheeky native animals and flora found out west. After six years of teaching art and curating and facilitating many regional arts events, Erin has recently relocated and now operates out of her home-based studio DIGG Art back in Holland Park Queensland.
