This piece represents my connection to country, the land, people and history is all apart of that connection.
My name is Ernest Garrett, I am an indigenous man belonging to the Darumbal and Wulli Wulli Peoples. I grew up on my father's country in Rockhampton including the river Tunuba (Fitzroy River). I gain my inspiration from places like the Tunuba River, our native country, family and connection.
