Artwork Description

A green tree frog. Just reminds me of climate change. I believe it is the green tree frog of South America?

The fabric is all quilting patches. There is no paint, or stitching on this. It is completely preprinted fabric. I have entered this in a few local art competitions and it had gotten a few mentions but has never won.

Artist Bio

Computer programmer for years, and love the creative process in coding software. However no one gets to see this creative process so have gone back to art. The last few years I have been looking for the best medium for me, and I think I have settled on 2 so far. I originally started with sketching and do like to sketch with graphite pencil. I've now also included Textile Art/Fabric Art. My inspiration is Bisa Butler, who creates life size pieces using American Black History. My calling is pop culture and comic book references. I've scoured a few 1960's Romance Comic Books as reference as well as using some of my own photographs of animals and things around me..
