Artwork Description

3 works on canvas, there is a visible pattern across the 3 canvas's but it can be placed in any order even vertically. The abstract of a top down aerial view of the plastic garbage patch floating around in the ocean. The white peaks of the surf blending in with the faded plastics from the 1970's etc. The Ocean Cleanup crew are working on it. The patch combines to make a habitat for algae and moss and that attract tiny krill and plankton to all the way up to table fish like Tuna.

Artist Bio

Computer programmer for years, and love the creative process in coding software. However no one gets to see this creative process so have gone back to art. The last few years I have been looking for the best medium for me, and I think I have settled on 2 so far. I originally started with sketching and do like to sketch with graphite pencil. I've now also included Textile Art/Fabric Art. My inspiration is Bisa Butler, who creates life size pieces using American Black History. My calling is pop culture and comic book references. I've scoured a few 1960's Romance Comic Books as reference as well as using some of my own photographs of animals and things around me..
