Artwork Description

A girl in a violet dusk is standing, waiting. Waiting for what? Fairies of course! They always show up after dark. This painting has hidden glow in the dark secrets that only come alive at night. Painted with durable long lasting and all night glowing paints. The painting will not lose its glow or deep rich daytime colours over time. It's been sealed with matte varnish so to make it super tough and also easy to see on the wall, no shiny glare.

This is new art but I've been painting glow art for 12 years on Etsy and before then with Stella Murals. I'm loving the new secret glow series and its hidden elements on clean white canvas backgrounds.

Charging the painting:

You can easily charge this one by hanging it in a well lit area during the day and then giving it a top up with a bright light at night. If you have a dim room or want to supercharge it up fast, use a LED UV light or bar and install the light near it on the wall. A UV light at 30 - 100 watt (395 nm) if held closely will charge the painting fully in seconds. The glow lasts all night.

Artist Bio

Hi! My name is Esther.

For the last 13 years I've painted starry night sky glow murals under the name Stella Murals.

Last year I moved from New Zealand to Western Australia and at the same time changed the way I paint glow art.
I wanted to explore a more painterly approach and make colourful acrylic paintings on canvas. I describe them as day/night glow paintings.

I started painting landscapes and have shifted a little to paint fantasy/fairytale subjects as fantasy art was my first love way back when I was an art student.
