The snow queen is the largest painting so far in the day/night glow series. The Snow Queen took months to complete, as I repainted it multiple times.
She comes to life in the dark after absorbing daylight, with a quick top-up under bright room light at night. While the painting has a semi-matte satin protective varnish, I recommend avoiding constant direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure could gradually fade the vibrant colors. The glow itself is long-lasting, retains its rechargeability, and can glow for many decades, maybe forever. Once charged, it glows throughout the night before needing another top-up.
For the strongest and fastest recharge, especially in darker rooms, a 30–100 watt LED UV floodlight or bar positioned above or near the painting works really well. Keep in mind, though, this artwork does not fluoresce under UV, its magic is purely glow-in-the-dark.
