Artwork Description

This piece is a celebration of small pleasures, and the art of letting go. Featuring a classic cocktail adorned with a pair of heels perched on the rim, this piece blends elegance with playfulness. Much like how my husband describes meeting me—graceful, intriguing, and full of charm. Thirty years on, he’s realised the elegance may have been a mirage, and what remains is delightful chaos. This artwork is a nod to that truth: the beauty in being unapologetically yourself, to authenticity, and the joy of embracing life’s quirks.

This is a hand painted digital work. Each artwork begins as a blank digital canvas. I sketch by hand using a stylus, building the composition stroke by stroke—just as I would with pencil and paint. I layer colours, refine textures, and add lighting manually to achieve depth and vibrancy. This process often involves dozens of layers and hours of detailed work, ensuring every piece is crafted with the same care as traditional dry brush or oil style painting. The final artwork is then prepared for archival-quality printing, so collectors receive a piece that combines modern technique with timeless artistry.

Max. print size: 70cm x 100cm | DM for commission size or composition.

NB: Photos of framed work is for illustration and styling purposes only. Available floating frame comes in four colours [black, white, natural, walnut]. See photo for colours.
